I don’t play Minecraft that much, but for years I want to get the platinum trophy for the game, and while i’m roaming around the world, I entered this cave and found this place. I don’t know what it is, it also hurts my eyes looking at it lol.
An ancient city might be nearby, theres no hostile mobs like skeletons n stuff like that but you can summon a warden that will attack u if you make too much noise. There’s a lot of good loot in ancient cities, so if you find it, jackpot for u 👍

Deep dark. Look around for an ancient city, just crouch. If you set off the shriekers 3 times the warden will spawn and attack you

Man, it just kept going down, didn’t it. I was confused too the first time I found this biome. My introduction came via a water fall next to three shriekers. You can’t sneak down a water fall so it would instantly afflict me with darkness and summon the big guy. I was FREAKING out. Laying torches everywhere and going why aren’t they working!!!!
