uhhh an you still can't skip Plantera bc she is a required boss to kill if you wanna beat the game and you can't skip her with a hook

I discovered this myself a long time ago and yes it is very satisfying to do… I was experimenting with a weird build trying to make a space elevator if I remember correctly and I ended up doing that
I actually dont play terraria anymore cuz they refused to fix this
It worked on the 3ds version
U cant skip plantera because if u dont kill plantera golem and cultist cant spawn
The true bug they refuse to fix: the constant freeze-crashing on PS4

I once got into the temple by building a little room and a bed through the door, resetting my spawnpoint, and then just magic mirroring myself to the other side
I wouldn’t do the temple hack cuz it’s a one way system unless you get the picksaw

You can't skip plantera. It's hard coded into the game, but you can still grab loot to make stuff like solar tablets

I’m pretty sure another reason for them staying in was because it became a huge part of the community once you got a little bit into it

I accidentally found this out after trying to break a wall in my first playthrough lol
unfortunately you can’t actually skip plantera bc you need to defeat her to trigger a flag or something to make the golem summoner useable
