the answer is that ugc could have been a good thing if roblox ever actually gave a shit about proper moderation and didnt open it to the public and only kept ugc to a few actually talented and respectful people. then again for a very long time now roblox seems to be dead set on self-destructing itself its been happening for a lot longer than people realised, id say the start of it was removing tickets in 2016 and then the removal of the forums in 2017 which i know is an obvious popular stance to take but imo it still rings true. this self destructive sprial to roblox has gotten a lot more apparent now than ever.
