I always keep some Iron Pickaxes on me because… There are always moments when I feel like doing something with the Diamond Pick (even if I already got a Fortune III, Mending Netherite Pick) is a waste of diamonds… And with the whole Netherite Upgrade template thing… I feel like I can never have too many diamonds

Honestly, getting an enchanted golden pickaxe from a ruin early game is pretty fun, in my most recent hardcore world I got one with unbreaking three and efficiency two, that was honestly a pretty cool find, The downside is I had to repair it very frequently but it wasn’t like I was using gold for anything else.
