Its clearly not from the Mojang team because it wasnt a charged addition and is actually interesting. Unlike how they keep doing mob votes so they can justify not putting in more creatures despite it being insanely easy.

My favorite yearly event is Mojang putting out an April fool's update that shows that they have significant ideas in terms of features, coding knowledge and so on
then we go back to the actual Minecraft release which is just like hey after months of waiting we gave you a piss yellow slime and sulfur blocks that literally not a single person ever asked for
Oh you want like actually new bosses or more animals added into the game or more quality of life improvements
