The asterisk is because I left the farm exactly once — to get the fishing rod from Willy and the rusty sword from Marlon. Being able to fish provided some early cash to speed up the farm cave, and also extra iron for sprinklers, kegs, and bee houses. I hit 1mil in year 7, but could have done it a bit sooner if I had put more time and energy into forestry.

You get the training rod delivered to you after Spring 28 which is a neat way to remind you about fishing
What did you use the sword for though? Monsters spawning on farm?
Are those ancient fruits? How did you get those?
