Is there a way to remove the gift?


I bought a house just for decoration really. I know it’s supposed to be a gift for whoever is going to live in the farm with me, BUT is there any chance I can get rid of this? I want to decorate the place 🥲

I play vanilla and on console, so no mods.

    I play on PC and I managed to solve this problem because I wanted to have a second house ready in case I ever have a friend to play with me… now, I just accepted that it’s going to be decorative and a stylish storage space for trunks 🥲, but for that you’ll need a second controller, go to the menu, activate the “open local co-op” option and turn on the second controller, then the screen will be split and you create your “friend’s” character, click OK and you can interact normally with the gift and improve the house in Robin’s house.

    If you have a second controller, you can open your game to co-op, make a fake farmhand to join your farm, and they can remove the box and bed.

    Then that farmhand leaves the game and you never use them again… unless you wanna upgrade the cabin later – the farmhand that owns it must be the one buying the upgrades at Robin’s in that case.
