You may or may not. Fiddlehead Fern comes from Secret Woods in the Summer so you missed this go around, but you could still get it from the Traveling Cart or by chopping Green Rain Trees during Green Rain. They can also be found on Prehistoric floors of the Skull Cavern if you have unlocked the desert.

During green rain you can find it by cutting down the big green stems that grow on that day only.
If you already had a green rain event (which happens in ~~spring~~ SUMMER guaranteed) and cut down those “trees” then you should have gotten seeds to grow them yourself.
Grow one, put a tapper on it and it should give you the Fiddlehead Fern.

If you have any mossy seeds from the green rain, plant them. You can pop up the seed with an axe or pickaxe, then replant until the seed you see in the ground is green. This means it’ll grow a giant fiddlehead, which you can chop down or tap for fiddlehead ferns. Use tree fertilizer if you’ve got it – you can craft it at level 7 foraging or you can get it from a bone mill if you’ve gotten Gunther’s special order super early. In winter they’ll just be a stump and you’ll have to wait until spring for them to resprout
If you don’t have any mossy seeds, there’s still a chance to get one! Some trees will randomly convert to green rain trees in fall and stay that way for the season. If you have any on your farm, clear the land around them so they can spread seeds overnight. Then pick up the seeds. You’ll also want to shake them every day. For any around the valley (make sure to check all of cindersap forest) make it a point to shake them every day

You could grind Sull Caverns, they can spawn o Prehistoric Floors. There’s also a small chance to get it on the Traveling Cart.
But yeah, both of those are small chances and you’re on the mercy of RNG if you don’t want to wait for next summer.

If you were out during the green rain, you might have a mossy seed. Plant it and when it grows, chopped it, you’ll have your fiddlehead. If you were out and chopped plenty of trees or giant lookalike green tentacles you can get it from there. If you still don’t know what I’m talking about, just wait to a weird weather day.
