I’ve played over 1,500 hours of modded Stardew Valley. While doing yet another modded playthrough, I started wondering if all of the time I’ve spent using mods would help me in a vanilla Stardew Valley playthrough. Today, we find out!

I decided the best thing that would help me recover from a very nasty sore throat was making a vanilla Stardew Valley video. That, and I was genuinely curious as to how it would go as I very rarely play Stardew without any mods.
I got so invested in it that I ignored my throat telling me to stop talking multiple times while doing the voiceover as it wasn't helping me recover. Whoops š
The Super Expanded playthrough unfortunately isn't salvageable. But there is good news.
I've taken all of the mods I started with and almost every mod that was recommended to me (thank you again for those suggestions) and started a new playthrough.
I've already recorded the first year just to be safe. I think I'm going to upload that as one video, rather than doing 1 week per video like the original Super Expanded. Think of it as a sort of apology for having to start the playthrough again š
It's going to be a while before I get that video done though because of how detailed I tried to be with all of the mods.
That video with the first year should be around 3 hours long. I'm excited to show you all what happened, so I'll be working extra hard on it.
As for this vanilla playthrough, I would absolutely be open to making a part 2. If people want to see it then I'll do my best to get that one done and uploaded by the end of this month.

How can your voice be so relaxing and maniac-ish at the same time? It's so atmospheric and i enjoy listening to you delve into details about the playthrough.
