It looks the same but the name and sell price will be different.
Just a tip: when planning a beehive layout, put flowers inside and beehives facing outwards. That way you don’t accidentally pick any precious flowers before the last day of season.

The picture doesn’t change, but when you harvest the honey, it will be fairy rose honey
However, just a warning: the honey you harvest is based on the flowers that are nearby *when you harvest*. So for example, you’re not going to be able to harvest your honey with this layout without first harvesting the flowers, which will then render your honey back to wild honey. You could sacrifice one honey by leaving a single flower and still get fairy rose honey, but you’re going to need a better layout going forward. It’s best to put the flower in the middle of the beehives so you can harvest the honey without picking the flower. You want to leave your fully grown flower in tact all season, only harvesting it on the 28th. (There’s a lot of really good beehive layouts out there if you do a Google image search. Mine is not the most efficient, but I don’t focus on honey too much so that’s okay. Just not my play style.)
This of course means you have to replant a new flower for your honey every season, but that’s why I move my beehives to ginger island asap

You take one honey and get a free flower because this game doesn’t respect boundaries when grabbing something XD.

Just like how scarecrows have an 8 tile radius the flowers affect beehives within a 5 tile radius
Mine aren’t min maxed at all, but you can pretty much see what people mean by put the hives around the flower

The honey only changes if you collect the honey while a flower is still planted in range.
If you picked all the flowers and then collected the honey, it will be normal honey.
If honey finishes before your flower is grow you can wait until the day the flower is fully grown to pick and will get flower honey.

Takes a week after the flower is fully grown for the hive to change what it makes. Also you don’t need that many flowers. Just one is enough. You can google the flower range for hives
