Pls help my chest is stuck!


I was reorganizing my farm and used my axe to move a chest full of clothes. I put it in the corner next to some plants and somehow got it stuck between them?? Now I can’t open the chest, hit it with the axe, or chop down the plants. It had all my clothes in it. Is there any way to move it open it? I tried bombs and they did nothing 🙁

UPDATE-FIXED: Thank you all! Using the joystick worked and I’m upgrading my hoe now. Also thank you about the dresser I didn’t realize this was an option 😅

    I assume it’s too late to reset the day? If you are open to mods you could try the noclip mod to try wallop it back out

    If you can still open the chest, take everything out. Otherwise, restart the day probably

    Try using an upgraded hoe. Get the chest in the area of hoe effect.

    Then put a statue or a seasonal plant there or something so it doesn’t happen again.

    If you use your right stick you should be able to access it

    In the future, you can put your clothes in your dresser because it has unlimited storage

    are you on switch or something? cause i don’t think this should be stuck on pc. you should still be able to open that chest, take everything out, and break the chest i think. if you’re on switch you might need to use the right joystick (i think that’s it?) to move the cursor over the chest to do any of that. idk controls for other versions like mobile tho

    Walk up to the chest so you are in the closest position to it diagonally. If you use the right stick you should see a cursor on your screen, hover that over the chest and press a to open it, you can remove the items untill empty and then fuse the upgraded hoe others were mentioning. Hope this helps.

    You can move chests with a pickaxe. I had the same issue. You can reposition full chests this way as well.
