I Played Terraria years ago but refunded it because I thought Minecraft was better. I gave it a second chance…and I was wrong.

  1. Bro, please, if you want high difficulty you can play on expert or even master mode, but nothing will ruin your experience more than MEDIUMCORE.

  2. You know it's kinda funny. I discovered this guy through their Digital Circus reactions, which I used as background noise while playing Terraria for the first time.

Though I gotta say, right now I'm post-Golem with around 120-ish (non AFK) hours in just two weeks… and Minecraft's still better.

  3. If you want a challenge, don't pick medium core and make your world seed as "no traps" to have a fun time cave exploring 😉

Also, I highly recommend starting on expert mode, expert mode is like the main experience. Its basically more content and its not even that bad.

  4. So a few tips:
1- You can break pretty much anything with pickaxes but walls and trees(wich require hammers and axes), if you cant break it, try later with a better pick
2- Control button enables quick tool select and interactions
3- To check if a house is available for an npc use the housing "?" tool on top of your equipment in the right, do it a buch since npcs will come as you get some items and make progress
4- For the love of god, do yourself a favor and make a new classic mode character lmao, you can still use the same world, just put everything in a chest and pick it up

  5. I would recommend playing on Classic. If you prefer mediumcore, good luck, you'll need it.
But if you do want to switch, the easiest way would be to just put all ur stuff in a chest, create a new character on classic, and then join the same world with the new character. You wont have the health/mana upgrades, but you can grab all the stuff out the chest and continue fairly easily.

  6. Oh, it's always a joy to watch a new Terraria player come into the game-! What is he Oh no– Clowny no, not Mediumcore!

But for real I hope you enjoy the game. If it helps any, it was incredibly hilarious watching you struggle, you're so funny bro. Best of luck!
