I made the stupid decision of starting to purify mine and my mates world…so far ive done about 9% of the crimson that existed and ive still got to check tons of the desert and underground on the left for anything that could re-spread – wish me luck lol

Use biome sight potions and sticky bombs to completely isolate any crimson areas and prevent them from spreading before attempting to purify
If you have the clentaminator just take a drill and dig four wide tunnels (its easy to press control and do two trips of two wide passes) down to hell every 220 feet (the compas and it’s upgrades reading). Then get any wings or slow fall potions and just do two passes floating down the tunnels to spray both sides with the clentaminator.
It takes a bit of setup but is faster than whatever this is. You can also limit the number of tunnels you have to dig by figuring how far the crimson has spread and cutting it off with horizontal and vertical tunnels underground.
Also if you don’t want the tunnels to make holes all over your worlds surface you can dig a horizontal tunnel across the world underground at the contaminators range if sprayed from the surface and the tunnel.
