Why don’t nether wood boats exist?

  1. Probably cuz players would expect them not burn in lava which would then make the strider useless 😭

There’s no water in the nether, that wood has never even considered being a boat.

    – Them existing and not being fireproof would make them illogical and mostly useless.
    – Them existing and being fireproof would invalidate most of the use for striders.

  4. Because then you would have a fireproof boat and there will be no use for the strider.

  5. Because boats were made for water, nether just has lava and there are striders instead

Because they’d have to be lava proof which would make striders invalid, which sucks

  7. Because Mojang has a thing for not completing sets and then making up halfbaked explanations about “creativity” etc. Stairs, slabs, boats….

What others said they should be able to move in lava but explode in water
    Edit: only wood from nether.

  9. The wood might be too heavy or maybe it doesn’t Burn (idk if that was the case then the boats would have to not burn in lava either which would be too op)

  10. To everyone saying they would make the strider useless, they *should* exist **but** they should sink when in lava. That way we can have nice colored boats that work in water while not breaking striders.

Yes! Nether wood should not burn, and we should be able to use it for boats in lava.

  12. Okay, so, i got a suggestion; make the boats, and make them fireproof… but they sink in lava as well as water after a while, making you can’t use them for long. That way they don’t replace striders while still being usable.
