Learn to actually dodge sun dance instead of running away from it.
Alternatively dodge the spears upwards, then you can dodge the missiles to the side and go down for sun dance.

dodge away rather than toward her (down and left under the missiles in this situation) or get the rod of discord, but also highkey the terrablade might be better than the flying dragon for this fight since its projectile is faster so you’ll hit empress more easily

Yeah that’s the hard one. Don’t run away from the shooting stars part, stay close to her. You need to sit in a little space that will open up between the stars and the flower petals

Make her start her projectiles around this red star (basically somewhere high) then fall down until she comes to your head. Then move to left so you get right in middle bottom of sundance (the flower like attack) and dodge all the projectiles.

This is really consistent. Never failed me once for like 100 fights.
Make a bunch of floating platforms. Having places to land in the air really helps with mobility
Rod of Discord is a game changer for this fight.
I fought EOL, and my advice id make a huge arena and drop down when she uses Sun Dance in the sky.
Go more towards right, so you would get at 4 o’clock. That’s the sweet spot where you could go
