Guys. I have two barns (almost) filled with pigs, and I’ve been RAKING in the truffles. The most I’ve gotten in one day is 72!! Hoarded them until the next day to see how many I could get, ended the day selling 114 of them for 140,000g😭 I also have the Botanist trait so they’re always iridium quality. I land up collecting at least 25-40 on a bad day. Easiest money I’ve made in Stardew!

PS I know I should make them into oil but they sell for so much as is!!

About you PS. Turning truffles into oil is generally the best, BUT if you don’t have the artisan profession then it’s actually more profitable to sell raw iridium truffles instead of turning them into oil.

I love my truffles, i collect them every night after my animals go in and keep them in a chest and sell them all on the last day of the month. big number makes my brain happy. you know whats even better though? an ostrich farm. give em all golden animal crackers and the amount of mayo money you get is CRAZY high. i have half my farm dedicated to my pigs that i got before the ostriches (i refuse to sell my animals) and the other half dedicated to my ostriches and every month on the final day i get such a beautiful big number and it makes my brain happy

  3. Truffles are basically the cheat code to living your best farmer life who knew pigs could be such money-making machines?!

My second farm was a pig farm (called Aberdeen Farm, iykyk) and I thoroughly enjoyed truffle farming at the time. I recently went back to that save file after not playing on it for a bit to re-perfect it for 1.6 aaaaaand never again.

I ended up doing the exact same thing, I ditched the oil machines and just collected truffles from the pigs in my 6 barns 1 time a day (at nigh before bed). This may not have been max profit but the time saved was worth it for sure
