Functional Railway System that connects many Distant Areas in my Multiplayer World

There are many distinctly different areas in my world, some thousands of blocks away, and its always evolving. This project has taken a while but its finally coming together and making my world feel more connected. Its impossible to connect everything through walking paths because much of my world is oceanic, so this provides a scenic way to travel and look around rather than using the Nether hub. Any thoughts or suggestions are welcome!
