13 hours in and just realised I didn’t select Hardcore mode when creating my Hardcore character…
Still haven't died yet, but I was hoping to make ectomist so I could craft a Band of Starpower. Do I continue with this character as a "wannabe Hardcore" character or scrap it and start a new character with Hardcore enable?
To make matters worse, I’ve had incredible drop luck on this character so far and I know making a legit Hardcore character will not give me the same results

You could put Like 2 chests at spawn, dump everything into it, and then make a new character with hardcore on and pick everything up from the chests and keep going like nothing happened?

If you still have 0 deaths at the end of the challenge it doesn’t really make a difference does it.

Then maybe keep continuing it until you die or make a new character and give all of your previous characters loot/items to the new hardcore character that you were supposed to use

I recommend placing all your items in a chest and creating a new character then picking the items up, I recently moved all my items from all my worlds into one master world using this trick for a final playthrough

I mean you can check your death count with the nurse so you can technically still hold yourself accountable and have proof of no deaths if you don’t want to start over
