I actually have a plot of land specifically designed so that giant crops will grow… but my Qi Fruit decided to grow somewhere completely else 🙁
Each season has a crop that can become giant in a 3×3 square. I completely forgot to try for Melon as I was in the middle of the Qi fruit quest.
I think the Mr. Qi fruit ability to turn into a giant crop was in a more recent update. The quest really stresses me out not going to lie lol. But, these giant dudes cut the tension.
If you already have the 500 crops you need and so don’t need to break the giant one, you can break it after the quest has ended and get a note from Mr.Qi and a little secret treat!
It’s not a *great* treat, but still!
if you don’t need it for the 500, you can keep it and it will stay after the quest
