1 hour and 999 geodes later


I had 999 omnis and 999 frozen so I’m like sweet let’s get this fn kyanite. Over 100 hours on this save still no mother loving kyanite. Literally unplayable

(/s please concerned ape I would pay you a million dollars if I could you are like a celebrity to me. this is the best game on the frickin planet)

    Honestly you’re better off with regular geodes, the chance for minerals goes up compared to omnis which give you all that other stuff regulars don’t. I had the same problem with jagoite but got there eventually

    I’m not saying you’re exaggerating, but unless you have a mod or something that is making Kyanite not appear then I think something else is off.

    The chances that you don’t get at least one Kyanite in 999 Omnigeodes is 0.0012% or 1.2 in a hundred thousand.

    The chances that you don’t get at least one Kyanite in 999 Frozen Geodes is 0.0000000000002% or about 2 in a quadrillion.

    The chances of not getting a Kyanite in both 999 Omnigeodes and 999 Frozen Geodes would be about 0.0000000000000000024% or about 2.4 in a hundred quintillion.

    That being said, farming Omnigeodes is super easy. You can get another 999 in like two days if you know how to do it.

    EDIT: Just because I like math and figured no one can really comprehend fractions in the hundreds of quintillions, I’ll put it this way:

    Let’s say every human being on the planet – all 8.124 billion – played Stardew Valley. They all got 999 Omnigeodes and 999 Frozen Geodes which they all open. They then close out and make a new farm in which they repeat the process. Let’s say they all keep repeating until all 8.124 billion people on the planet have done this one million times each. The chances that **all** 8.124 billion people would have found at least one Kyanite on **every one** of their one million farms is approximately 99.98%.

    Because contents of geodes are seeded, if you swapped back and forth between opening the omnis and opening the frozen, ypu could have skipped over the kyanite in either chain any number of times. Unfortunate, but likely

    I’m running into a similar issue with marble. But I only cracked like 200 Omni geodes so far.
