Hey r/feedthebeast! Back again with some EMI integration footage for True Polymorph, the mod I posted about a while back that collapses multi-step recipes into a single craft. Quick reminder of what you’re watching: a full set of iron armor and tools, crafted from mangrove logs and iron blocks, with one click per item (and accurate byproducts to boot)!
The EMI integration is coming along really nicely, and I’m aiming to release before the end of the month. Before I finalize things though, I wanted to come back here one more time for final thoughts. The feedback from the last post was genuinely helpful, and I’d rather catch any concerns now than after launch.
Ask me anything! Whether it’s about how the mod works, edge cases, or anything else on your mind, I’ll do my best to answer.

this looks great! the only thing i’d recommend is to change the name of the mod, since there’s already a pretty widely used mod called [Polymorph](https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/polymorph) that also has to do with crafting. your mod could be easily misconstrued as a different version of this mod, which could lead to it being used less, or being installed by someone thinking it does something else. i would definitely use your mod though!
That’s so cool! I can’t wait to try it out! I’ve been using create ages lately so the only edge case I can think of is a smithing table craft in a sophisticated backpack. Assuming it can be used in other crafting interfaces.
I really love the terraria-esque style of crafting! I feel like this till take a toll on the performance when it comes to large modpacks. Say just dropping the stack of iron updates the whole list.
I say the this is really interesting approach but it kinda removes the fun of shaping the craft.
There may be packs that will revolve with this mod (I sense mostly RPG packs)
Either way you had a very good job creating this mod!
How does it choose if several recipes produce the same item?
If you are using EMI do all possible crafts get added to the polymorph menu still or only conflicting recipes?
Does it work with crafting tools? Like non consumed saws or wrenches or whatever, and is it fine with nbt data on them?
