I just wasted a good hour of my life trying to gamble my way to my first starfruit on my latest playthrough…
I am usually on the switch, but I have been recently playing on my phone.
Are the odds different over different platforms?
I was under the impression that it was weighted to land on green more often than orange?
On the switch I have never had an issue betting on green and gambling my grange display winnings to get more than enough tickets to clear the store. Today however it actually seemed like 50/50 odds.

Basically if you have 1000 tokens you should bet 467 on Green and so on.
I’ve had good luck with it, but I’ve seen others really struggle. I think it depends on how patient you are and how you’re willing to bet. Â

i’ve always used [this technique](https://www.reddit.com/r/StardewValley/s/sIHJt7xNQu) and it’s worked quite well for me
My strategy is to always save the game right before entering the festival, and bet all on green like a degenerate without complicating the process, thats the easiest and quickest way to earn the required tokens instead of betting low amounts. most times you’re lucky enough to get 3 straight all in wins on green first try, which earns u enough tokens but if u get unlucky u can always load the game before entering the festival again.
