Terraria needs an endgame arena type of content that you unlock post-moonlord. Where you can level up the moonlord items while fighting in the arena and make it be a roguelike experience that infinately scales and has unique bosses that gain mechanics as you "climb" the floors
They removed whip stacking because otherwise they’d have to balance every whip to work with every other whip, though I do agree it’d be nice if it was brought back through an accessory
We need to make a petition to bring back whip stacking. Summoner is so much weaker now, and whip stacking made the class so much more interesting. Now it's just use one weapon and that's it, before there was actually a reason to use multiple weapons. BRING BACK WHIP STACKING!
Basically? Alongside the other difficulties? A Custom difficulty mode.
You can determine how much ore generates if at all.
You can determine how many enemies are allowed to spawn and how quick they do spawn.
You can determine how big biomes are, how close your dungeon is to spawn, ect.
You can even also determine how much health, defense and damage enemies do, how much damage you would be able to do, how much health you could have, how many accessory slots you could have, how many minions you can summon at once, ect.
Heck, you could still even include the Journey Mode menu if you wanted to, just make it include the options of the custom world.
Basically? A fully customizable world with a fully customizable playthrough.
I fail to see how spam switching between 1 2 and 3 on your hotbar with 2 or 3 nearly mechanically identical weapons was something that made summoner more interesting. I get that terraria is a game that lacks nuance in its combat but surely whip stacking was mainly just because people wanted to crank their dps up rather than have an interesting challenge.
I have an idea: when breaking the plantera bulb, it would drop a plantera bulb seed. You would be able to plant it in the jungle and in some time it will become a planters bulb.
An accessory that makes you immune to traps would be good. It’d start only making you immune to cobwebs, then you’d craft it with something else to give you immunity to dart traps, and work your way up (Spikes, Spiky Balls, then all of the Lihzahrd traps). I think it’s a good idea

1st one should be available after beating Plantera once, it can also require a jungle key, so it will become usefull again or just return key casts
People still play vanilla terraria?.

One addition that everyone would like is to make support to the throwable class.

i think it would be cool if you could just pick up the bulb, then you could gather them up and summon the boss
You lost me at whip stacking
then theres me, never whipstacked in the first place because wtf is whipstacking?
i think whip-stacking can stay removed ,didnt add to much to the class besides making it even more stronger
Lowest level summoner during 1.4.5: wow they added a ton of content to summoner, this is great
Everyone who was actually good at summoner: well this sucks
Nah we dont need whipstacking, its the reason why calamity refused to add whips they are a balacing nightmare.

I KILLED PLANTERA 41 TIMES and didn't got a single seedler 😭

calamity adds these all not whip stacking tho

Whip stacking required some more precision in clicking in a specific way, I want it back so bad
