Why is steam still catching strays? Dawg, I haven’t heard a single case of grooming on their platform. (although I know it HAS to exist, no platform is free of it.) But it must be rare as all hell.

Once a country, or company, goes in on age verification, they start trying to claw at ways to make more and more things require it. Just look at the UK and how out of hand they’ve gottne since passing the OSA.
They want everything to require age verification, because they want you to be forced to hand over your information for them to sell.

I don’t know why countries just feed into the idea that big corpos are the only reason why children are getting groomed online. The moment their parents decided to not supervise them, was the moment those groomers were enabled to groom their child. If we aren’t putting parents under flame for technically allowing child endangerment, then why are we making randos (aka people who aren’t even supposed to look after your kid to this extent) be the ones who get flamed??
