Hello, everyone. I hope you’re having a wonderful day.
Today I’d like to introduce you to a small project I’ve been working on with great enthusiasm. This project is called VIA GASTRONOMICA.
What does that mean? Well, in a nutshell: food, cooking, farming, and exploration. Want to know more? Let me explain.
Via Gastronomica is a cozy project focused on cooking and farming.
What does that mean? This project invites you to cook around 5,500 delicious recipes.
Farming—in this modpack, you’ll find plenty of fruits, vegetables, mushrooms, berries, and many other things to keep you busy. At the same time, plants need daily watering with a watering can, fertilizing, and much more.
Seasons—each season promises to add immersion to the game. Plants grow according to the season, so you won’t be able to harvest strawberries in winter… unless you have a heated greenhouse. The in-game calendar features ideas inspired by folklore to give you a sense of the seasons. At the same time, this modpack is built with holidays in mind. What does that mean? Christmas comes with gifts… baubles and a tree, Easter comes with eggs and good cheer, Halloween comes with masked surprises, and so on.
Paths and trails—maybe you want to grab your backpack and set off on an endless adventure. The terrain generates endless paths connecting villages and more.
RPG Elements – Since this modpack also includes an RPG, we have elements like magic: not spells, though… but rather witchcraft, potion-making, and so on.
Weapons and Armor: Each weapon has a rarity level and can be upgraded up to +15 using items.
New Animals: This modpack allows players to study, raise, and play with or fight a variety of new animals with realistic behaviors.
New monsters: In addition to the classic mobs that will put your combat skills to the test, there are now monsters shaped like fruits and vegetables!
Butchering – Animal husbandry is much more engaging now with the butchering system; animals no longer drop just a piece of meat, but an entire carcass that must be cut with great precision, offering players a much wider range of animal-derived products.
There’s a lot more to say, but… a lot more to offer. As I said, this is a very early-stage project I’m working on. If anyone is interested in the progress or wants to collaborate, has ideas, etc., I’m waiting for you on Discord.
