I actually did beat this game as a joke, it took 2 hours because of all the ads.
But on the serious note though I'm genuinely curious how devs feel when this happens. Do feel upset, don't care, or find it funny?

thankfully most of the games being ripped off are objectively better than the ripoffs unless it’s an actual fangame made with actual passion (ex; Sonic.exe The Disaster 2D) so besides those rare exceptions, i think the devs just laugh at the knockoff:3
games like this only exist because little kids download them and they make a lot of money from the ads/reviews so they prompt them everywhere possible so its basically adware, devs likely don’t care because they don’t affect the actual game its copying much if any
