While I'm sure its possible to skip all those bosses. U would be crazy to do so. To go straight to wall of flesh would take forever without powering up thru the other bosses. Same for the rest. U get such a good power spike that skipping them makes no sense. Then there is the matter of classes. Good example is deerclops. A very skipable boss in pre hardmode. But for summoners and mages hes helpful and easy to beat. The old ones army is a bit harder but also a must have for summoner. If u couldn't tell I'm a Summoner main lmao.

Skeletron needs to be killed for cultists to spawn
Fun Fact: You only need to beat 1 mech boss for Plantera bulbs to spawn
I love how calamity only requires just as many of you included skeleton in vanilla
U can hoik ur way into the jungle temple or whatever its call i forgot
You don't need to kill plantera and the mecs if You just use the rod of discord on the temple or use the plataforms bug to noclip the door
