I have a very distict memory that krobus asks if you hear him crying when it thunders, because it scares him. I am pretty sure its not a real memory though because I've never been able to recreate it. Maybe its a mash up of sdv and another game experience. In my heart though, i believe its my sweet baby krobus crying because he's scared.

The second noise is definitely either a fox or a coyote. They're often confused for women screaming. 😅
