  1. This update was amazing and im really excited to try out what you guys have got left for us, scarabeus' fight was really fun and the duo boss fight was one of the most exciting boss fights i've seen from any other terraria mod, great job to the entire team

  2. The Salt Flats biome is actually awesome, what the hell. I love how the background is so low to the ground and lets a lot of sky show. Also, I've always liked the look of Overcast in Terraria but so rarely get to see anything like it in-game. This mod's content constantly speaks to me.

  3. Absolutely incredible stuff from all involved, it's a delight to see the amount of passion coming from all teams in development. Especially for the salt-flats reflections, shaders have always seemed a sort'f magic to me & it's sublime to see it pulled off in Terraria so seamlessly. Hats off to all involved, and thank you for the grand update!

  4. Ohh my god I didn't realize so much shit went into the salt flats reflection sob, the "reflecting mountain range reflection" problem didn't register in my head & I thought it was a simple "draw everything upside down again" situation. Team spirit is so cool

There is so much to learn from this, I'll definitely keep this in mind for my own mod projects… As someone whose skillset revolves around making art assets and designing, it's difficult to get a good handle on what the coders can reasonably pull off in this game… I've already stolen Iban's method of mapping out boss attack patterns from Fables's concept art, haha

  5. There's something I've been itching to say. Scarabeus' minimap head icon looks like eternity mode plantera's, same goes for the phase 2 concept art in 2:05 with scarab launcher from new Luxor's gift from calamity mod, and last but not least, in 9:02 when you mention that minion spam problem, my mind went directly to the vanilla boss Queen Slime, she's the perfect example for this, ESPECIALLY these damn bouncy and crystal slimes she spawns.

  6. Boss design based off of the Aqir, and the desert structure is a ziggurat? Can't wait for the Lich King snow biome boss and Scourge event.

  7. As someone getting into making their own mod for the first time this is REALLY useful to hear!! It's incredibly interesting getting to hear about the design process of such a long-running mod and the in-depth look at iterating upon concepts over time and such is definitely a huge part of that, keep up the good work!

  8. Scarabeus is awesome and a very fun fight! You guys did a great job.
Had to edit and talk about the salt flats. What a beautiful biome, I'm amazed by the salt mirrors on the floor and it's such a nice implementation, a calm beautiful place that fits really well in the game!

  9. Y’all cooked on this update. The Salt Flats look really pretty, and Scarabeus is probably one of the best bosses in all of modded. I’m excited to see what y’all make in the future and great work Team Spirit!

  10. This is a new level of quality and creativity for terraria. I am truly blown away, I cannot express how excited I am to continue following this unique and incredible project that is my favorite terraria mod
