I saw people doing 3x3x3 using Focus but my goal was to get it in a single trinket. It took me about two days to realize that this is not possible at all, even a cube with a side of 2 is barely can get in screen, I have to draw patterns out of screen space and put them smart, as you can see here, total mess. Sorry, no proof that it digs, but I believe that you can imagine a two block wide hole 🙂
Also, it's my second day with this mod and my feedback is that I feel REALLY limited by this drawing space. Is there any addon to fix that?

You should use thought knots with Scribe’s Gambit/Reflection along side
Introspection and Retrospection so you can store patterns. Then use Hermes gambits to read and cast them.
I made a detailed tutorial for hex casting basics in my modpack Scholars and Librarians. I only showed how to cast Edify Sapling. But I work up through different ways of casting it to be more advanced.

Very well done, you could make your grid size bigger by having the inscribing lens and the enlarge grid (not sure if that name is correct) potion effect which you could get a very high level of
Did you try using the scrying lens? You can switch it out for the trinket at the end.
