I decided to beat Daytime Empress of Light with pre-mech boss gear to challenge myself and continue the series of daytime EoL Shorts I’ve been making. This is how I did it! (This was done in Master Mode)

This is INSANE. What an achievement
Yknow people don’t realize that saying “do it premechs” just increases the fight time, and due to the fact that the boss has zero rng you can do it at any tier with any weapon with the same amount of consistency, it’s just about the kill time (yes I know a longer kill time does make it harder, but Empress is very much built for a fight like this)
Now do it while having lung cancer
Can you do it post Moon Lord?

I personally think the second phase of eol is so bs js bc of the lightbolts into the sun dance u are going to get hit no matter what

To people complaining about RoD, I got 3 of them before even killing a Golem. Not even farmed hallowed enemies
Unironically I'd personally reccomend fighting her at the oceans
Lava shark is such an insane mount for mobility, when I first did empress daytime I used it and honest it took way less effort than I thought it would
there's a guy who beat her with bow and potion of gravity and that's it , no armor no tools no equipment or charms nothing

Edit: I was too hasty because the fact that people wanted a daytime empress fight pre Mechs fried me. My bad continue on

Just one issue, where are you gonna find a prismatic lacewing pre-plantera (well, I guess you can just get one from another world, but I don't like bringing things in from other worlds unless if it's something I can already get in regards to current progression anyway.)
This challenge with Duke at least has a point, as means an actual progression skip in your wear (a big one to cope) in vanilla. But this is just make the fight longer for the sake of it.
