You should see them all over in the fall. It’s the “Common Mushroom” and probably the easiest of what you see in the image to find.
Just wander around when it’s fall and you’ll 100% find one quick.

A few options:
– just on the ground during fall. If you’re well into fall, it’s possible you haven’t spotted it because it’s brown and blends in a little. The backwoods is a good place to check in particular
– in the secret woods during spring
– if you chose mushrooms, your mushroom cave. I’m guessing you picked fruit bats because otherwise you’d have already gotten plenty of common mushrooms
– A mushroom log. You need level 4 foraging for the recipe. It’s made out of hardwood and moss

You can make mushroom logs and thats the most common mushroom they make.

Fall, in cindersap, down by the spring onion area, sometimes the path to the mines from the farm. They’re generally around. A mushroom log will give you more if these on average than any other kind…if you have the ability to craft those of course.
