Clearing out my childhood bedroom and found this disk. Just curious if it would be worth anything, can’t find it online anywhere it just keeps finding Xbox versions so I thought I’d try my luck here. I’m guessing it’ll just be worth the game itself but maybe its age might bump it up?

Just want to double check before I bin it

just put it on an ebay auction and see how much people offer

  2. That looks like a self-printed disc label. Minecraft for PC was never sold in physical disc format, it has always been a digital purchase via Minecraft.net.

Therefore, it’s likely worth nothing, and selling it could actually get you into trouble for copyright infringement.

def don’t bin it, early pc discs can actually fetch some decent money especially if you’ve got teh original case too 💿 collectors go wild for these since physical pc copies became pretty rare after everything went digital

just throw it up on ebay with good pics and see what happens, worst case you make like 20-30 bucks 😂

It looks like a printed on disc and it feels like really fine sand paper

The only time Minecraft has ever been available on a disk was in a demo edition from 2011. And this doesn’t look like what shows up in results.

bootleg disk, quite rare, there isn’t any precise “value” to it though

This is pirated version of minecraft.

Text alignment is horrible, just look at that “PC Edition” text, Mojang or any serious company would never leave it like that, and other text on disc looks bad.

It’s not original disc, so it’s not worth much, just like any pirated game on disc.
