It’s possible, yes. Reloading a day (referred to as “save-scumming”) can sometimes change the outcome of item drops and stuff. RNG will still be a factor, though.

It will be different every day. Check it first thing in the morning, and if it doesnt give a prismatic shard: reload the day and ignore it until the next day.
