Use a different launcher
What is it installed on?
You are on Windows XP, no wonder it’d take that long. You might want to upgrade to something newer like Vista or 7
If you’re playing java get prism launcher and when youre making an instance click modrinth then fabulously optimised if your computer is usually terrible at playing mc
Official launcher sucks ass. I liked it first because it looks nice, but it doesn’t even look nice anymore, too much shit going on and it’s slow as hell.
It looks like you’ve got 12 different apps running based on your taskbar. Maybe try stopping (not just closing, but fully stopping) some of those.

I have never had this issue with the default launcher. Mine at most takes a minute, and that’s only when it has to update the launcher.
when in doubt, OS reinstall
At this point use another launcher
I you change to another one, I recommend Prism Launcher or Multi MC, though I don’t see many differences
Use prism launcher instead
