The guide, of course, has tips that he himself mentions can be helpful if the player gets stuck.
Naturally, he has tips for many bosses including the wall of Flesh, specifically a hint at how to summon him. This is because
defeating the wall of flesh is necessary, possibly THE most necessary step to progress in the game.
“When you are ready to challenge the keeper of the underworld, you will have to make a living sacrifice. Everything you need for it can be found in the underworld.”
Now something not many of you know (but I know some of you do) is that the guide ***IS*** the Wall of flesh.
***This means that he knows that he has to die for the betterment of the world.***

He also gets constant random burns because of the voodoo dolls in hell, iirc. He’s basically in constant pain.
thats not how sacrifices work though???? unless you’re saying that we’re killing him and hes getting reincarnated, I’m pretty sure the wall is not the guide
Why would he be The Wall of Flesh? Terraria’s lore notes only say he is “a misterious guide”. At most you could say he knows he is going to die because the Order of the Guide has enough knowledge to know summoning the Guardian requires a living sacrifice.
And I’m not accepting Red’s jokes as lore if that’s your source. He already confirmed most of his posts are jokes or random stuff that came to mind when asked.
