Hello guys. If I play Terraria without an internet connection, will anything happen to my save data? (i think ill play single player mode). I often don't have an internet connection, but I still want to play Terraria on Steam. I'm afraid of losing my data because Steam keeps giving me a warning about it.

Okay to put it simply:
This is a warning from steam, not terraria, nor your computer.
Steam is backing up your terraria files when you’re online, when you’re offline it cant do that, and this warning is about that lack of a backup.
If you play offline, when you get online, steam will ask if you want to use your backups or your local saves.
Use whatever save is most recent. If one is a day old and the other one two days old, the one that is two days old is missing a day of playtime, because for a day you weren’t backing up your save.
If you have space on your device then it’ll just save to a file on your hard drive
It can be a coin toss with some games. Personally, I don’t know about terraria, but you can disable cloud saves to keep your characters safe.
