My friend and I searched for the portal room for over an hour. The quest said that the portal room is atop the tower to the opposite of the throne room. No portal was in sight and we tried digging underneath and still found nothing.
The chance of a meteorite at the Lost Castle was low, it even landed on the exact tower that had the portal room. We were both really annoyed by this but in the end, it's still a funny plot twist and we are going to find another one.

Bruh, id be so mad if it was me. I’d probably rebuild the portal and make it look like the meteorite brought it with it or something like that xD
I’ve seen a meteorite inside a lost castle too, it was in prominence tho so it wasnt as bad
