I don't want it to all look the same which is the issue I had in the original with it all being stone types

  1. I think you should mix it up, like do walls from stonebricks/tuff/cobble/etc. and do the roofs and details from deepslate

    Contrast? Never heard of her.

    Mix it up! Can add some depth and really make it visually more distinct.

    The bridge is a great example of contrast. Without it, everything melts together and ultimately looks messy instead of elegant. Mix together different stones, make gradients, use heavy contrasts.
