the reason in person events stopped happening is because if they decided to do it, the entire event will become the Hunger Games and the winner gets his right to vote for the new mob
the mob votes literally exist to make people angry. they are that way by design
Why not make a mob vote of all the past golems
The community must be BAND!
Every mob vote be like:
A. Mob that is f**ing useless
B. Even more useless mob
C. Actually mildly interesting mob that will become useless in next version
People for some reason will choose the worst possible option. They will complain about their choice. They refuse to play minecraft (such a rebellion). Then they realize that Mojang doesn't give a single f bout them. Then they make return. And loop repeats itself.
Can't wait for the usernames that were stolen by bots to be released cause the accounts got deleted.

We shouldn't vote for the worst mob, we should vote for the mob that was the most blatantly undeveloped and ignored. Those two aren't always the same.
(for example I still think the sniffer was the worst mob for being purely decorative with precisely zero uses other than getting two purely decorative items)
why are people still surprised when mojang does mob votes, its obvious they keep doing them because they're running an "any publicity is good publicity" model of advertising minecraft. they're using the community-wide upset of mob votes make minecraft trending on websites to attract new players, the only way we can stop mob votes is if the community at large simply stops talking about them

I am of the personal belief that Villager news is canon to minecraft along with Hermitcraft Season 8 because Element Animation. Along with the April fools villager sounds thing.

I have noticed that, yeah. Twitter just thrives on negativity, and inspires users to be negative as well. I feel like most people are, if anything, excited about the mob vote and the live show.
The diffrence between Youtube and Twitter is the fact that Youtube usually has younger audiance which accully loves the minecraft updates even if they suck and doesnt have negetive feedback.

The people from Mojang do this to get some extra money.
I wish they would just make all three mobs instead of making people vote. then some dumb mob inevitably gets voted in. The only mob that got voted in recently that’s good is the sniffer, and I’m still salty the stupid allay (idk how to spell it) winning over the copper golem. The copper golem actually had a use and a cool function it could randomly activate buttons and you had to make sure it didn’t oxidize, but all the stupid allay does is pick up items like a hopper but unlike the hopper it’s alive which doesn’t make it any better.
I wonder if they'll do a mob vote of earlier mobs that did not make it
i didnt have access to my minecraft accounts email so i emailed support with some info and they changed it for me. it was pretty easy and quick
