For context my gf tried to send me 30 robux with the new plus feature and when I tried to accept it I was told I needed to put my parents email. After I put my alt email it THEN told me I needed to make an account and attach that email plus a 18+ government id to it and give it parental controls to my account. It's even worse considering my account is in the 16-17 age group. I don't understand why I need to go through all this trouble to accept 30 ROBUX as a 17 year old THAT ROBLOX KNOWS IS 17 but a 10 year old could buy robux directly from them with nothing but their parents credit card. This whole age group update sucks so much and it makes absolutely no sense the way it's used.

I didn’t know it did that, bro why does roblox just ruin people. They know that children pester parental figure all the time and they do this to people who are mature.

well, if someone is getting paid for messed up stuff or the kid scammed someone it isn’t that bad
there’s no way this was part of the law, if it was then genuinely someone’s gotta do something about the government ruining the internet, they are making it more and more restricted as the time goes on
I hate to say it, but Roblox does have a point. Kids shouldn’t be accepting cash from random adult strangers. Who knows what pedo’s could bribe kids with robux for then?
Even 16-17 can still be misled. It’s good to have a second opinion for that stuff.
