Dangerous Mummies have 445 HP and Dangerous Purple Slimes have over 800. So whichever weapon is getting you a fairly consistent crit damage of around 500 will be the one to go for
Infinity Gavel with 3 rubies for a damage of 130-156 still needs at least 4 hits to reach that 1 shot threshold on its special attack, but that will kill most things in the game in 1 special swing.
IDK how well the crit damage of the Iridium Needle matches against that since the gavel is also an AOE damage that can hit multiple targets

I wish we could use galaxy souls on the iridium needle. ☹️

Neither, I hate the reach on daggers.

Left. Since the needle locks the opponent in place while doing the special attack, higher crit chance is better than higher crit power. A stun-locked enemy will basically be more likely to be hit with more crits, negating the need for higher damage crits. With the needle, youre basically one shotting one creature at a time anyway, so more consistency is preferable

It’s only 3 less crit for 75 crit dam bonus. Right for me.

Left, because at the point you get a crit at all, it’s likely no monster has the HP enough to survive the attack, whether or not that crit is +200 or +275. In comparison, using the dagger special attack and not getting a crit is amazingly feel-bad.

14 > 17 crit chance is more important than 200 > 275 crit power to me. the point of the needle is that it does low damage per strike, but you get more strikes/more chances for crits.
in this case, more crits is more beneficial than a little more power than crits.

It’s definitely the left.
The daggers are identical beyond one has 575 instead of 500 crit power, the other has higher crit chance.
Daggers work by spamming attacks. You want those crits.
Crit chance is definitely the right move for a dagger, all else equal

Definitely the one with +75 crit. power. That +75 crit. power might not seem like a lot, but it is. It’s tremendous.

Critical chance, source : years of playing DND better chance to crit is better than more crit when you do.

I would say the right
The right one for me
What are the advantages to the left?

Right:
By chance; 20 dmg x 14 crits x 275 multiplier = 77.000 damage
+ 20 dmg x 86 no crits = 1720
totaling 78.720 or 787,2 damage average per hit.
Left
By chance; 20 dmg x 17 crits x 200 multiplier = 68.000 damage
+ 20 dmg x 83 no crits = 1660
totaling 69.660 or 696,6 damage average per hit.
Conclusion: statistically you will do about 90 damage in average more per hit with the RIGHT dagger.
I prefer the needle, but Zathras always says needle.
