Used Text Displays for the first time for hyper-realistic Russian signs for the Kirov Highway truck stop

I wanted to see how gritty and realistic I could make a modern highway feel without using any mods. I tracked the exact proportions of a stretch of highway in Kirov, including the Reka Velikaya river bridge.

The biggest challenge here for me was ditching standard Minecraft signs. I tried it for the first time. I used custom text display entities to recreate the exact Cyrillic alphabet for the Lukoil gas station, the tire shop, and the trailers of the trucks based on what I saw on Google Earth.

Since this is just an exterior environment study, I didn’t put any interiors in the world.

That P&O truck is from a company that operates near me, there was a big scandal a few years ago when they sacked everyone in favour of cheaper Asian immigrants

At first glance I thought it was a random sub again. Then it was like WHAT DO YOU MEAN R/MINECRAFT! It’s so realistic and cool… can I move in?

I read the title of the post and had to do a double take. I didnt actually realize this was minecraft until I looked closer. Lol

    Good job!

I thi k that i played way too much Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2, and of course Yuri’s Revenge … because when I saw “Kirov” I had the quote “Kirov Reporting” in my head! XD

Anyway… it looks phenomenal! Keep up the good work!
