In the world me and my friend have, we quarantined every section of corruption before hardnode, then dynamited both sides of the V that spawned when we entered hardmode so we have 0 spread.
Also fished up all our hardmode ores 😅 that way no silly single block spread from breaking altars

If you just wamted the trophy couldnt you pf used slyblock? Im not sure if that works as i havent gotten the achievment myself, bit id imagine itd be a lot easier
