I found a tutorial on how to build a benchiest benchy benchlike benched bench but I encountered an issue. See, if I make it so only the "neck" of the armor stands for the legs is out of the ground, the trapdoors kinda float in the air. But if I make it so the trapdoors are perfectly on the tops of the stands, the "body" parts of the stands come out of the ground. Does anyone have any idea on how to improve this?

Well, at least have the trapdoors facing the same way
idk, try leather armor or something so it looks more woody
You could place six armor stands instead of one for each leg so that it looks more circular.
You could also do oak trapdoors if you want the legs to blend in with the bench.
Or you could skip that kind of leg and just do a different trapdoor on each end for the sides
