punch the boat a few times until it breaks.
well if you were on java you could use f3+b to see hitboxes, but on bedrock you just have to aim at the boat as far away from the animal as you can and pray
Hurt the boat
Drive the boat into a cactus so that it breaks the boat for you.
if you have access to a lead you should be able to pull it out ^^ otherwise aim for the boat corner and pray

using an axe on the boat doesn’t generate the sweeping edge
