People say king slime is first boss and i fight eye of cthulhu first and everyone says the destroyer is the easiest mech boss and the twins are the hardest and i go for the twins first cuz i see them the easiest
Of all bosses I definitely wouldn't say king slime has horrible loot Slimy Saddle is great utility, ninja armour is… pretty poor but the offensive bonuses put it about on par with silver/tungsten imo, and given how easy king slime is I sometimes fight him without any armour just to get a couple basic decent armour pieces. Slime gun isn't bad if you're using frostburn arrows/wand of frosting, the whip you get from him is pretty solid if you don't want to get snapthorn before him, royal gel is niche but still has applications, his hook is okay, and no matter what you can sell his stuff for some pretty decent money. Compared to like skeletron, plantera and cultist his drops are perfectly fine.
İ remember keep trying to beat king slime beacuse EVERYONE keep saying it is THE FİRST boss and it was so hard for me to beat hım and i didnt even know the game well the best things i have was rotten fork and undertaker and enchanted boomerang(the goat)and he was painfull but after somehow defeating hım so later on i somehow fighted IOC and HE İS EASİER THAN KİNG SLİME PEOPLE SHOULD CALL HİM FİRST BOSS (Atleast in classic)

I think that EoC is the first boss, even though King Slime has less health. I struggle more with King Slime than I do with EoC given the same gear.
