One way to find out. If you have them, place water candles and use battle potions, those help spawn them. I’ve spawned them from a much shorter span of grass blocks

You are better off just using a save editor to edit them in, the RNG of pals is so abysmal that by the time you get any use out of them you are nearly in hardmode already.

It should be. Like 100-150 was my platform. Also make sure to have an artificial jungle to help boost spawn

Go to one of the oceans, make a platform to the end of the screen. You must have the lifeform analyzer to help notice it. Bring water candles and/or battle potions to increase spawn rate. With max zoom out, you can SEE stuff spawning on screen, so you don’t even need to keep walking, just go to the edge kf the screen and keep killing everything tjat spawns in your direction. Amd believe, you’ll spawn LOTS of goblins by doing that.
Also, raise your luck, this will help a lot.
Took me 1 IRL day to get 2 cativas and a foxsparks.
