Hello everyone! It has been a year since I last posted here. Now I am here to share a new mod I have been working on with my team (P.R.I.S.M) – Autowork.

The main concept is to make Vanilla-like/Vanilla+ machines for making automation easier and more intuitive instead of adding complex energy networks or multi-step crafting chains.

Every block also has an in-game tooltip system that explains how it works, so you don’t need external guides πŸ˜€

I'd really appreciate any feedback or ideas πŸ™‚ (or bug reports, too)
The mod is uploaded on CurseForge: https://curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/autowork

**I am incredibly happy to be working on the same team as this person!**

  2. Nicely done! Seems like it could work well in a vanilla-plus style pack for sure. Reading through the mod page, you did well choosing which automation helping features to add I think.

I do kinda wish the sides of the block manipulating blocks looked a little different to the Crafter’s side, as it is it could be hard to tell them apart from side view, which, since the face will be blocked by the block they’re manipulating, could be confusing.

Edit: Looking at the commit history, it seems you made the whole mod in 2 days. How did that go for you? What tools did you use to get that much in that quickly? Or, is the commit history misleading here — maybe you copied the mod code from some internal repository?

  3. Now do I add this to my vanilla+ create pack…might be fun as an “alternative”
    Great work!

  4. This is perfect, just what i was looking for to add to my modpack, its more of a adventure/exploration focused one but i like having simple automation for convenience with building and storage, i thought of adding create but i felt it would be too much and go against the nature of the modpack, this is just exactly what i needed.

  5. Very cool mod , i always love to see vanilla-like mods due they are simple but complex on what they can create

    >any feedback or idea

I know that is planned to be mainly “vanilla-like” but i could suggest to add an optional JEI/EMI plugin for the “crusher recipes” [image 1] so anyone can see all recipes
(or something like a recipe book but could be more complex)

Also it could be cool to see more minecart interactions (like junction rails or minecart with *drill* )
