Although I think the best updates were the nether and cave updates, I gotta say hunting for wither skulls used to be boring, and now I can joust them with a spear and elytra. The recent updates even if they were small have improved the game

  1. I kinda agree on this, the recent updates have added some good stuff (exept tiny takeover, that should have been part of spring to life)
However I feel like most of these drops just feel unfinished, for example the garden awakens could have had a few more things.
    Pale pumpkins
    Possibly more flowers
Bleached birch, dark forests have multiple trees so why not give pale gardens another one
A corrupted lush cave biome generating under it like the one in clifftree

  2. Thats only a hot take on Reddit where people gripe about everything. For the general population of players, we have been loving having any updates.

They’ve been fine, theyve just not been the fixes to the problems the game needs

  4. The Minecraft community is also very diverse. Some people here seem to think that everyone is asking for the same thing. As long as they keep new stuff coming for free, like they have for 15 years, there’s really no issue.

personally i don’t think i’ve ever had a moment over the course of minecraft’s existence where i felt like “minecraft SUCKS now!!!” but also i play very sporadically, so i think not overexposing myself to the game helps keep it fresh

I’ve met people. If you have also met people. You will realize how insane most people are. The game is fine. Especially for It’s cost, and for how long it has existed. You can only play a game so long until you can’t anymore.

I don’t really mind the updates being small, mostly because it’s made room for so many technical changes to be made to the game, Java’s especially being improved by it

The updates aren’t bad at all, though I do wish the small updates were used more to improve on existing features. To me, it’s always seemed like the perfect opportunity to work on those smaller features in the game that are are a bit lackluster, but wouldn’t be enough for a full sized update, i.e. farming or enchanting
